I love we got this event... hate Scarbo has spun it into a UA vs UAB story rather than a "Yay for UAB" story. I would rather Bama fans look at it and say "Why aren't we hosting?" than to have them say "We didn't want it anyway."

Fights start at 3:30 pm. There are eleven bouts. Undercard coverage starts at 6pm on the Showtime Extreme channel. The final undercard & the Big fight starts at 8pm on Showtime.

Some photos of Bartow Arena set up for boxing. It appears the NCAA banners have been taken down. Showtime has brought in some cool hi power LED lighting. I saw there rig on another fight last night & this is the same one.

I hope this approximates what the lighting upgrade at Bartow looks like. Great effect.
