Ive never seen him at an athletic event

I had a group lunch with him halfway through the 2014 season. He was very aware of the excitement with Coach Clark, he knew our record, and he knew our next opponent.

That's at least something.

I think Dr Vickers has been by far the most responsive VP at least for me. I agree a national search should be done but if you're sitting somewhere in another state would you want to walk into this dumpster fire? At least Vickers knows where the bodies are buried

One consideration of hiring from outside - The B'ham City Schools have hired nearly every superintendent from outside ever since Dr Wilmer Cody was brought in from VA. How has that turned out?

The new one that they just hired is a native of Hueytown, and was working in Georgia. Hopefully, she will do better!

Birmingham City Schools have bigger problems than their superintendents.

Likewise, UAB's problems are bigger than the President.
