McElroy is turning into a better than average broadcaster. One of those Southlake kids.

The most memorable part was something I had not heard (but obviously should have) was the nearing completion of a $40 million expansion on the South campus to consolidate all coaching offices there. And ... I think he noted that the new basketball practice facility would be there too. I guess the Finch Center will more/less be like the old HPER complex was when I was in school in the late 80's?

He was asked about Andy Dalton and if he impacts the program --- Fuente noted that they were more peers now and talk about life and family but that Dalton spoke to the team before the UC game and has met all the players and has helped some in the past ... and will gladly help when asked.

Spoke glowingly of last year's seniors and that Galen Scott is a natural to fill Odom's spot. And that regardless, losing 8 seniors on that side of the ball would/will be a challenge for whomever.

Noted that Lynch gained great strength between Freshman and Sophomore years and that was key.

There was more ... and if I were younger, I would write a better summary, egahd.

Lynch is gonna be a big key this season if we are to have continued success.

Our offense should be phenomenal.

We have done it before and we can do it again.

We beat them 10 times. Not so bad a record considering we were NEVER picked to beat them as best I can remember.

The first time we were ever favored to beat them was in '64. We lost 30-0 in Oxpatch. There was a massive traffic jam on the interstate and some people didn't make it to the game until halftime. It was worse after the game trying to get back to Memphis.
