NY TIMES weighs in on UAB football
Steven Godfrey ‏@38Godfrey Probably the best part of that NYT op-ed is the palpable disgust over the fact that people draw civic pride from a football team

Dan Wolken ‏@DanWolken Also lacking any context. The Alabama Board of Trustees is a huge part of the UAB story.

I am surprised they even had an opinion on college sports, they have way to busy writing about all the speeding tickets that Marco Rubio got 20 years ago. You get better news from the National Enquirer.

Please do not denigrate the National Enquire by comparing it to the NYT.

Sorry, I owe the National Enquire an apology. I should have said Washington Post.
