If I understand the word "scandal," and if I understand the word "Administration" (and I do) there is a scandal at the Veterans Administration having to do with lack of care of American veterans, dead Veterans, and bonus paid on falsified paperwork - otherwise known to liberals as "bad governance", right?

President Barack Obama is the head of the Administration and appointed Secretary Shinseki. Thus, this is a scandal within the Obama Administration, and a scandal involving an Obama appointee.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  2. Has anything even been proven on this yet or are you just going off of conservative sources at this point?

Really? It's clear that governments of foreign nations donated to the Clinton Foundation while Hilary Clinton was Secretary of State. I don't need a !conservative source! to tell me this. There is a very real concern that American foreign policy decisions were driven by the amount of money donated the the Clinton Foundation. Frankly, I am surprised you don't see the connection nor hold the same concern.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  3. Really...you're going to look at the spouse's of people working in the Obama administration and tie their behavior back to him as a scandal of his? WEAK!

What an odd response. As if the spouse (a former sitting President of the United States of America) of an Obama appointed Cabinet Secretary is the same as when Billy Bob got the rural Postal Service route because his wife was the local Postmaster.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  4. Pfft. Nothing to do with Obama's administration really.

She used her Obama appointed Cabinet position to solicit donations from entities she holds enormous power over through the regulatory state. She asked those entities to contribute to a foundation that is working to implement Obamacare. Obamacare, as in named after Obama. How in Huskie Jebus does this not reflect on the Administration? Because Barack didn't make the calls himself? She was also cited by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel for violating the Hatch Act as she improperly campaigned for Obama’s reelection while serving as a Cabinet secretary.

You are the last man standing who still believes this was low-level bureaucrats over-zealous in targeting some random non-profit groups and that there was no real pattern in the political affiliations of those who were inordinately targeted by the IRS.

I would give you the benefit of the doubt here if Rice or the Administration had said "further analysis clearly shows this was a pre-meditated attack, and our initial impression where incorrect" but instead liberals still hold to the narrative that this was simple spontaneous demonstration erupting over a right-wing hate video.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  7. No scandal, just a partisan dick move by congress.

The head lawyer for the United States of America, a man appointed by the President to that role, refused to hand over documents to the people's elected representatives in Congress. And the Congress pulled the dick move? Eh?

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  8. Got a source for this?

Why yes. Why yes I do.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  9. Really weak. Not a scandal at all. The green loans program hasn't been that much of the bust you're assuming and if anything, it's bad governance.

For instance, a loan hurried to get in place before election half-billion-dollar loan guarantee to a now bankrupt Solyndra that's potentially a bust approaching three quarters of a billion dollars million dollars. Actually, you are right. Small change to a liberal.

(06-09-2015 02:50 PM)Redwingtom Wrote:  10. Source? She was only accused according to you...anything proven?

What type of comment is "accused according to you." Do you mean that I, American Citizen Lord Stanley, has hearby reasearched and am bringing charges against former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis? Eh? RT, a simple Google would bring you, for instance, this.... The FBI is involved. There is a lawsuit in California. The Federal Elections Commission is involved.

The Obama Administration is ScandalFuckingCentral.

And if this was a conservative Adminstration, you would see headline after headline reading Republican President plagued by scandals within Administration.

Thanks...but you proved nothing other than your definition of a "scandal" sucks 03-lol

And using the Washington Examiner and the Washington Times for some of your sources? C'mon man, you're better than that.

But like I said, I'll sort of give you the Veterans Affair issue. But if you honestly think the administration of the VA was a well-oiled machine that Obama just corrupted in a scandalous way you're sadly mistaken. This has been an ongoing issue for years. And I certainly blame Obama for not addressing it sooner...but it's hardly some scandal.. Sorry.

P.S.: To Clarify...your assumption of my belief in the IRS-Lerner case is mistaken. I'm not blaming the low-level. I'm just telling you that this is how and always how the IRS has worked. They go after an area they feel will reap fraud. They're not always very good at it sadly.

Oh, so it's okay for you to use MSNBC to support your position, but it's NOT okay to use those in the bolded?

What a joke. Not surprised that Tommy brought this forward.

Brooks is an idiot. Most of us knew that. Tommy is a joke if he really believes what he has written here. I'm not sure that pic is Tommy, though. He can carry far more water at one time than that person.

Even Obama's lapdog media has complained about the lack of access and Obama's lack of transparency. Some of them have even started asking questions themselves - stuff they should have been doing all along (and would have had the occupant of the WH had an R by his name and the same "accomplishments.")

Despite all the clamoring and made-up ones from the petty right.

Sorry guys. A valiant effort though.

And so there are people in Washington who do set a standard of integrity, who do seem to attract people of quality.” ~ David Brooks
