RE: Sun Belt to evaluate expansion options within the next 30-45 days
The Sun Belt should hope that Missouri State and Illinois State are ready to make a jump. Those would be decent additions.

Who is ready now for FBS?
North Dakota State
Eastern Washington
Montana
Montana State (they have the stadium big enough already for 15,000, but too chicken to move)
Liberty
Alabama State
Jacksonville State
Florida A&M
Delaware
James Madison
Northern Iowa
Youngstown State

E. Kentucky - wants FBS and has a 20,000 seat stadium currently undergoing renovations
Missouri St - has the budget and recently updated stadium to 17,500 seats.

I'm with you. Kicking Idaho out seems to be the conventional wisdom on the Sun Belt message board. I'd much rather give NMSU full membership, extend Idaho in football only to 2020, add UMass to a similar deal, and wait until EKU/Coastal/MoSt are more ready. Clean 12/12 setup, divisions and a championship game as early as 2016. No waiting on FCS move ups. Access to Gillette Stadium for TV games. You add more value to the conference by adding a championship game and the Massachusetts media market, then you do subtracting Idaho and going to 10 in football.
I would kick out New Mexico State as well. Lamar's football have improved. They went 8-4 last and just missed out a spot in the playoffs. Lamar have been recruiting players that they will be playing in the FBS. They are aggressive and much more ready than Missouri State, Eastern Kentucky and Coastal Carolina. Lamar could be the 12th team right now which means one of the Louisiana or Arkansas State move to the east. Bring North Dakota State in as football only to help their football be more attractive for another conference. We have schools that are ready for FBS, but are in places where the Sun Belt have schools are at.
It is obvious you should have been in bed and sleeping, when you made this post.
I thought it was joke. Maybe your right and he made an ambian post.

I predicted EKU 15 months ago. I'm still leaning that way, although there's a lot to like about CCU.
A poster on the EKU board claims to have been "tipped off" that EKU is expecting some kind of answer from the Sun Belt by June 22nd.

I think the Sun Belt Conference asked around to a lot of the Missouri Valley teams and I know Illinois State said no.

The Sunbelt's best teams have been cleaned out by CUSA. What lower conferences do they raid?

Not a joke. Look how spread out the Sun Belt would be if you add New Mexico State for all sports? They be better off in a more travel friendly conference with Idaho in the west. They should try and get BYU and the three could try to find a way to revive WAC football.

The deadline to begin FBS reclassification for 2016 just passed on June 1st.
I like Coastal here because of the new stadium and South Carolina location.
CUSA has interest in Texas State, AState and ULL. It would make sense to shift the SBC further East where it could become more attractive for schools like JMU and Delaware.
