I blame Watts. Probably not wrong, either.

I hate to admit this but Ms. Engineer called a BS on the new tag. She said athletics were being minimized by UAB. She was right.

Go to Snoozy's and get a Blaze sticker. Affix it in the large white space on the license plate. You're welcome!

That's just as illegal as putting your date decals on the previous design. So, go for it, but don't expect it to save you from a ticket.

Several of us said that and were told we were paranoid.

If you look at what all has transpired, throw in all the UAB commercials shown during sporting events that makes NO mention of athletics it all makes sense.

Those commercials act like athletics doesn't exist and we are the only ones at the FBS level I have seen that do that.

You can keep your old plate. It's perfectly legal as long as it is in good condition per the Etowah Co office.

I wish I could do that buy my new plate has completely different numbers from my old one. I'll just hang my old one up in my home office (if I ever have a home office).

That's the same statement made from the Department of Revenue in Montgomery. As long as it is a personalized plate that is the same "#" as the previous plate. Also, adding a sticker is fine. As long as you have done nothing to deface or obscure the number and/or expiration sticker.

I like it a lot. Turn the design in to NAS.

Alabama Registration Statistics

UAT has over 102k, we have 2700. We have less than JSU and Troy :-( That's crazy considering that we have higher enrollment than both (not counting all the online folks from Troy)

Speaking for myself, I no longer have a UAB tag, because the new one is butt-ugly.

That's not what they told me, which is why I don't still have my old tag.
