"I graduated from ULL but am supporting LSU 100%".

That is like announcing in public that you are proud of betraying your mom because the neighbors mom has more money.

Nothing to be proud of son.

It sucks that a bunch of posters over there are actually ULL grads bashing their own school. I've never really disliked LSU, but they sound like your typical trashy, walmart SEC fans

They aren't typical... They invented Walmart trashy fans, they are the originals and the worst. Other Walmart trashy SEC fans think LSU fans are Walmart trash.

The Morning Advocate does an excellent job covering Cajun athletics. I read their stories before even going to the Crapatiser.

As for the trashy fans on the bulletin boards, that comes with the territory. Here's hoping this year's Cajun squad can become magicians and make all those LSU fnas disappear.

You guys have to remember that the Advocate is no longer a Baton Rouge only paper. While ownership still resides there, they have stretched to other parts of the state including Lafayette. The Acadiana Advocate is primarily responsible for the content you see regarding the Cajuns and Luke Johnson is the guy who writes the stories. Although he is an LSU grad, he writes some fantastic articles on the Cajuns. Just have to look past all the double L and Louisiana Lafayette nonsense. His articles far exceed those written by Buckley and the Advertiser.

Back before the days of the internets I was often forced to buy the Crapatiser. I can recall reading many articles that abruptly ended mid-story. It was obvious that they needed a story to fill three-quarters of a column for instance, and when that column was filled....end of story.

What a piece of work.

Huge difference in the quality of journalism between Luke Johnson and Tim Buckley. Buckley also dresses like a homeless person, someone really should talk to the guy about his appearance at times.
