They screwed up their football program so badly, it will take a decade to recover.

What are the odds they stay in CUSA? Do you think the conference would kick them out even though they are bringing football back?

The conference was kicking them out because they violated the bylaws by canceling the football program. They currently are appealing to stay in the conference without football until they can find someplace else to go - I think is what I read.

Word is maybe Missouri Valley would take them.

They announces yesterday they are reinstating the football program.

With so many of the kids transferring out of UAB before this announcement, it would have been nice to get some OL and DT transferring in. Just thinking out loud here. I know many went to South Alabama, I wonder how many landed better schools than UAB?

I just HOPE the MAC doesn't take them....

"back" is a loose term here. sort of like when Michael Jordan came "back" for the Wizards. Or Favre came back for the Jets or Vikings.
