Dude! I want a trophy rivalry, why doesn't UCF/USF Corridor Clash have a trophy?!

UCF's first trophy rivalry and UCF doesn't know anything about it. Count me Pro Civic Conflict! Civic Conflict to the Big 12, lol.

"...UConn coach Bob Diaco proposed a rivalry back in 2014 after his team's win. The rivalry was then worked out behind closed doors between Diaco and UCF coach George O'Leary, according to John Silver, who covers UConn football for SNYUconn.com.

Silver explained Monday that the trophy was created as "kind of an internal trophy" and that each school's athletic department was not involved. "

Sports Illustrated say that O'Leary was involved.

UCF/USF Civil War I-4 trophy should be a Large Gold Played Bob's Barricade. There is enough of them between the schools. It would look like the Stanely Cup.

USF and UCF seriously need a trophy. Has there been any real talk of creating one. I haven't heard of any other than message board banter.

We had a message board rivalry with UCF during BE expansion and we play Navy a lot. Not sure about this while uconn thing.

UCF/ECU is a fan/internet favorite but I don't recall the administration or marketing department making anything official

Not that 22-11-0 is much of a rivalry.

I'm back and forth on the rivalry trophy thing... Its tough to manufacture a rivalry, but if they were well thought out and had some relevance they might take hold.
