I imagine Sandy may take on that role.

Why all the hate for Scott Farmer? Before he got there you guys sucked in football and barely moved the meter on the national stage. Baseball & Softball are good and have been historically.

Not Farmer. HUD

Hopefully your next AD brings Troy back to a place that you leave other schools for.

I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

Yep! Didn't expect that.

Haha. That guy is a one of a kind!! He was a regular at our tailgate. Not to mention the trip to Idaho and lunch at the Mo Club!!

I've known Wayne for 30+ years. One of a kind indeed! He will land at somebody's tailgate everywhere he goes. He filled me all in on the Idaho trip. Sounded like a real good time. We've made a lot of road trips over the years and I had planned to come down with him for the App game last year, but things didn't work out. Look me up if you're making it to Boone this year. BTW, love the Hemi Man". Been a Mopar guy since high school.

I will certainly look you up when me make the trip up there. Next year you can fill Wayne's shoes at our tailgate if you make the trip down. The last personal vehicle that I drove that want a Mopar was 23 years ago. Had several muscle cars over the years, but they faded away when kids came along.

Spoke to Wayne today about our conversation. Said he was already planning to bring you by our spot. Looking forward to meeting your crew. !0-4 on the muscle cars fading away. If I only knew back then what I know today my retirement plan would have had been sitting in a garage somewhere and I'd be driving them around on weekends.

On the surface Scott Farmer has done a great job. But when you are more informed and are privy to some of the inner working if the athletic department and know his failures, although rarely made public, it is apparent that he is a poor to mediocre AD. He is very hard to deal with from a coaches standpoint, not quite Barry Alvares level but close. Has been directly respond for some truly mind blowing failures, mostly due to being short sighted.

So much so nearly every major decisions is no longer his to make. He is not a visionary. As an AD you have to be able to inspire your fan base and push your donors to give more than they are comfortable giving in order to get to where you ultimately see your program. He has seen our success over the last few years as sustainable with really committing to advancing the program.

The Master Plan was forced upon him by major donors after the last round of realignment happened. He was blind sided, had the Sun Belt's interest ahead of his own programs interest.

Essentially he is a guppy in an ocean full of sharks.

I knOw you guys don't like him but if he is as bad as most of y'all think, why is he still there? You would think the mighty and powerful Louisiana would have cut ties with him a long time ago and would have hired the next up and comer... I am not saying that I want him back but there has got to be a reason he is still there after 8
