Last season was the year of the QB while 2015 looks to be the year of the RB when you have a 1,300 back (Aaron Jones) on the 3rd team.
Last season you had Cato, Dougthy, and Heinicke and this season Johnson on the 2nd team is coming off a 2,200 yd season with a 131 QB rating.

We had five underclass running backs with 1000 or more yards last year (although one transferred) and seven guys who had at least 11 rushing touchdowns. Darik Dillard isn't on the all-conference team and he had 11 rushing TD's (12 altogether), but I do think Jowan Davis should get higher billing over Dillard because he had more yards for Rice (almost 1000 himself).

Driskel getting some respect from Steele, he hadn't even played a down in CUSA but still made fourth team.

He's ranked as the 4th best QB in the conference. That's not much to het excited about.

Your statement is relative.

As a Southern Miss fan, I'd be happy to have a 4th team all-CUSA QB. Or at any position honestly.

We did alright last season with a guy who wasn't in Steele's top 3.

I hope he ends up being far and away the best QB in the league, but if he's in the top 4 I think we'll have probably had a pretty good season overall.

Yep, that guy is trying to make a roster spot with the KC Chiefs at the moment. Not bad for a guy who was floundering at Iowa.
