I just have to say that I am totally impressed with the resolve and committment of the UAB faithful.

Further, any schools that were even considering raising the idea about shutting down football (aside from Idaho) would have to be stupid or worse after witnessing this. Again, this is a major win for all of us not because any of us were in this position of closing shop, but because it reaffirms the committment to providing intercollegiate athletics at the highest level.

I still would like to see UAB get an on campus football stadium as that guy who reported this is saying on campus stadium is not part of bringing football back...I am curious to know what happens to the 2 UAB transfer we have who are sophomores, will they transfer back to UAB?...

Despite other people who said unfair advantage, also glad CUSA basketball tourney will more than likely be back in B'ham..
