There used to be the Arkansas Gazette and the Arkansas Democrat. Gazette was the morning newspaper, the Democrat the evening paper.
Then along the way, the Democrat became a morning paper, and the Gazette sold out to Gannett. And then eventually the Democrat won the newspaper war, and we have what we have now. Shame the Gazette couldn't have stayed with local ownership and won the war, but they didn't so until Wally Hall becomes AD and appoints one of his buddies the coach, things will be somewhat the same until Wally leaves his earthly body and eventually joins Coach Broyles in that great world beyond. When a coach comes in who can win at a high level like Joe Foley, the men will eventually get more respect. Until then, it's the same old same old.03-hissyfit03-hissyfit
