Welcome to SWATland Yard
Tops get another 7'1" British kid who was being recruited by SDSU, USCjr, Purdue, and a few others. He is a true 5 will need to grow into his body a little bit. Hopefully by sophomore year and Lawson's senior year (other 7'1" Brit) they can be a force down low together. Smith is a true back to the basket 5 while Lawson was more of a 4. Here is the news link.

Love the nickname -- "Swatland Yard". I hope it sticks.

For the slow people. Say it with an Americanized British accent and it sounds like Scotland Yard. (The detective agency over the pond)

Great add(s) for WKU. If you end up in the Top 25, I hope you stay there long enough for us to get a shot at you.

Ha! I think WKU is not likely to come close to that this year. With 10 new players this year, and maybe an 11th, it's unlikely we will be anything too special. We will likely be decent, maybe RPI 100-150, but a few years away from being anywhere near a poll.

We just graduated two of some of the best players WKU has had in a long long time (Fant & Price).

Coming to cusa has helped us recruit over our current players, and we are having quite a few go on academic schollys to help bring so many new guys. But at least we are getting a wide variety instead of mostly freshman.
