Didn't finish high school. Got GED. Bumped a couple of jr colleges and dismissed. Statutory rape (he was 21 she was 15). Prison League basketball in Nebraska.

He was on Parish this week. Kid left a trail of mistakes a mile long. He liked the gonja. He had a habit of missing stuff, not showing up. Should have and could have been a Mcdonalds all American but he was told they had no confidence he would show up.

Amazing talent. Could have played in the NBA. Some of said he was one of the top five three point shooters of all time.....at any level.

I remember him being a high scorer but not good enough to play for Memphis?
I recall what Cal said after he scored something like 82 points in a game and Cal was asked what he thought about it. He said "Let me find out who was playing defense against him and make sure we aren't recruiting him" lol

He was Memphis good just decision bad.

If only his head was on straight. I do not believe he would have been successful at a big time program due to coaches at that level micromanaging, but I believe he would have been very successful at a decent mid-major, much the same way as Steph Curry and most recently Cameron Payne were. One of the most exciting players to watch in Memphis history.

Read up on restorative justice, forgiveness, mistakes of our youth (even severe mistakes), that kind of stuff. I suspect if all of us were held accountable for the sins of our youth for the rest of our lives the world would cease to function and heaven would be lonely place.

As I said he made lots of mistakes. I have no idea if he has changed or not.

I would like to introduce you to Officer Cole sometime. He has a restoration story to tell.
