Speaking of LSU, I find it interesting that the NCAA would not allow them to start a 10:00pm game tonight against UNC Wilmington. The move means that game 1 is played at Noon tomorrow, and negates LSU's advantage as the undefeated team.

Normally they get those advantages from the NCAA, but not this time.

Nearly a bench clearing brawl as a Rice base runner slid spikes up into the catcher on a play at the plate. Cooler heads prevailed. Runner was out, 2-2 Bottom 16th.

Cajuns have got to be enjoying this. Well...not that any of the players are awake to watch it.

Amazingly, both teams have only used 3 pitchers. Houston's starter went 9 and a third innings...and one of their relievers has thrown 8 innings.

Rice's starter only went 5 innings, but their current reliever has gone 7 innings

Wayne Graham looks like he needs a walker as he goes to the mound for your 19th inning visit.

Top 20th. Rice Pitcher somehow throws a scoreless inning despite the fact his arm looks like it's about to fall off.

Rice wins 3-2 in 20 innings. They will play the Cajuns in approximately 10 hours 50 minutes.

Houston is eliminated after what must have been a long, miserable day at the ballpark...

If Lafayette loses this regional they should be thrown out of the conference.
