Fantastic! Not only do we get to keep UAB in conference, but the Sun Belt and FCS schools that want to join CUSA can stop their beauty pageant for a while.

It could be Watts' way of passing the buck. If it really was the BOT who killed UAB football, let the blood be on their hands now. I hope it works out for UAB!

This would be fantastic news. I dont think anyone wants UAB to leave. I dont think the BOT and Watts thought that this action would raise this much attention at thier dealings.

This would be great news, but there is still a weasel(Baby Bear) in the hen house.

I hope they come back. But it annoys me they'll be set back years because of the original decision. Then again, with all the new donations and a reinvigorated fanbase, it could mean a more committed athletic department and fanbase with an on campus stadium and other needed things.

Just curious, what is the rep of Tony Kurre of WJOX? Is he one of the broadcasters with the reputation of always being in the know? I know in the triangle, they are some media people if they say they have a source it is 99% while others say things and it is 1%. Hoping he is one of the 99% for you guys.
