I think the Cajuns won an academic award at the conference baseball tournament but wasn't sure if it was just for baseball or for all sports. We did have an article (below) reporting the school APR info.
Cajuns Continue To Thrive In Latest NCAA APR Release
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns student-athletes continued to thrive in the classroom as all 16 Division I varsity sports exceeded the required cutoff point of 930 as the annual Academic Progress Rate (APR) was released on Wednesday by the NCAA.
Twelve sports scored above a 960 on the multi-year average, with the men's cross country team honored by the NCAA as one of 11 athletic programs in the state of Louisiana and over 1,100 programs nationally to record a perfect 1,000. Men's cross country and women's tennis, which scored a 992 average for the second consecutive year, each tied for the best multi-year average among schools in the state of Louisiana.
Women's cross country (991), women's indoor track and field (982), women's outdoor track and field (982), softball (980), women's soccer (979), men's tennis (978), men's golf (967), volleyball (966), baseball (965) and men's outdoor track and field (962) all exceeded the 960 mark.
"We are extremely proud of the many outstanding accomplishments of our student-athletes, both on the field and in the classroom," Director of Athletics Scott Farmer said. "This is a testament to the tremendous job that our coaches have done in recruiting outstanding student-athletes, and the work of our academic staff in keeping them on their respective path towards earning a degree."
Every Division I sports team calculates its APR each academic year, based on the eligibility and retention of each scholarship student-athlete. Teams scoring below certain thresholds can face sanctions, such as scholarship losses and restrictions on practice. Rates are based on the past four years' performance.
Similar to a report card, every Division I sports team calculates its APR each academic year. Scholarship student-athletes each semester earn one point for remaining eligible and one point for staying in school or graduating.
Rates are an average of the past four years' performance. National aggregates are based on all teams with usable data at the time of analysis. The most recent APRs are multi-year rates based on scores from 2010-11, 2011-2012, 2012-13 and 2013-14 academic years.
In order to compete in the 2015-16 postseason, teams must achieve a 930 multi-year APR. NCAA member campuses and conferences in Division I decided to move to the 930 standard because it predicts roughly a 50 percent graduation rate.
