MyBB Can we market our own 30 for 30 to ESPN?
I keep seeing various posters saying that ESPN should turn this whole mess into a 30 for 30... (and it definitely should gain that platform)... So, why don't we have one of our own fans/alums turn this into a documentary, to inevitably sell to ESPN?
I recently saw the 30 for 30 "There's no place like home" about a Kansas fans' odyssey to raise the money to bid on James Naismith's first written set of basketball rules, which were up for auction at Sotheby's. If he can have his personal documentary turned into a 30 for 30, then the UAB scandal definitely warrants the same attention.

There is so much great footage from this year (from Watt's "numbers" speech in the locker room to the "Fire Ray Watts" chants at the NCAAs) and there are so many journalists that have written about the corruption, and would make great interviews in a documentary format.

This is a project that needs to be put together asap, because it very well may still be helpful to the efforts.

There is already one documentary out there. I think that can be a start.

I am reminded of the rise of Adolph Hitler with all this. The night of the long knives = Football, Bowling, and Rifle.

And then what?

The world knows.
Hasn't changed anything.

Since we don't yet know the full extent of the BOT"s intentions, it may very well involve great harm to the whole nonmedical side of UAB. Was UAB football the whole target or just the first target? There may be more than a few "shoes left to fall" before we know the whole picture.
