I hope number 44 is related to number 45 since that will be Arkansas vs UTEP.

Don't know if I trust this mag too much because they have UTEP in the Miami Beach Bowl vs Cincy. I know C-USA will have a team in that bowl this year but if UTEP is bowl eligible this year, the conference will place them back in the New Mexico Bowl or in the new Tucson Bowl.

I think I agree with you. More likely to see Middle Tennessee State in the Miami Beach Bowl, the UTEP-Rice winner in Tucson against Wyoming, and the UTEP-Rice loser in Albuquerque against Colorado State.

I think next year Arkansas is gonna be scary good. Probably will be in the running for the national championship. Tech has a history of having national champions on the schedule the years they win it.

I agree, Arkansas should be very good. They finished strong last season shutting out Ole Miss and whipping Texas in their bowl game. I hope it doesn't go too badly and affect the Miners confidence for game 2 at Texas Tech.

Look at it this way, UTEP could be extremely competitive in the game against Arkansas and come out and skull drag Texas Tech in week 2. Not having Showers as the starting QB this year can't hurt.
