IIRC, there really isn't any evidence to go off of if foul play is expected. It is very tragic, but to tie that story in with this one makes zero sense.

I think they're protesting the impression they get that the system didn't seem to care enough to look into whether or not foul play was involved initially.

I understand that. I guess I didn't phrase my first post as well as I could have. I'm trying to figure out why this is being brought up in the article about a guy who is stomping on a flag and wanting to kill all white people.

I think it's pretty clear that the guy in the OP isn't really indicative of those wanting legitimate discourse through protests, I think you're right that this guy probably doesn't have any real point. It's, odd.

Whatever college admitted the guy should maybe revisit its admission procedures.

I don't think either you or I have nearly enough information about him to state whether or not he's mentally ill, I'm just stating that this is the time which many people first manifest signs of mental illness and it's something to be aware of.
