Interesting video. I didn't know that water drainage was such a problem. But I'm glad we will continue to improve what we can control and hope that an FBS conference extends an invitation and we keep getting great recruits.

Smokes, were you not attending the JMU vs LU game in 2009. During the 4th quarter they were playing in a shallow swimming pool. Even the crown of the field was under water.

Hey, JMU had an even worse situation the year after we built the new FBS, somehow water came in from outside our stadium and flooded the entire place. There must have been 3' of water running through Bridgeforth Stadium.

I thought Liberty spent big on their facilities but look at all the seats for your outdoor swimming facility. 05-stirthepot

I remember hearing of it being bad on the field in 2009 but I didn't know it was ankle-deepish. [sarcasm] But since we're going SEC I thought we'd try to fit in with schools like Florida and play in the Swamp. [/sarcasm]

Since they are putting in astroturf I guess it has come a long way in the last few decades. I know a lot if teams gad gone away from it for a while due to injury concerns and switched to field turf. Isn't that the stuff with the black tire dust as a base?

Is it possible the new turf comes with a new conference logo?

I don't think so highlander. Would be great, but not one sign of any changes happening for Liberty.

no - in fact @LUADjeff actually stated this time the logo "will be sewn in" rather than painted on

ie; we're stuck here now

What is going to be at midfield? The last picture I saw had no logo on the 50 yard line. Any updated pictures?
