Top G5 Programs Discussion on Reddit
Getting some love. We're in almost every post. Just wanted to share since it made me appreciate how much the perception of our program has changed in the last 5 years. Big thanks to Novak, Kill, Doeren and Carey.

Notice how we are being called NIU? The branding campaign is working.

Thanks for posting this! It's awesome to see that we've gained a lot of respect in CFB
I love this comment

The five schools I'd be most nervous about ECU playing right now are ucf, cincy, byu, boise, and probably niu or temple.
As far as programs go, I think those mentioned above are set up for success in addition to Navy, Marshall, Houston (new stadium and coach), and ECU (I don't think we are the worst program out of the bunch but can't give a fair assessment).

We throttled NIU in our bowl and did the same to ECU in '13!?

It's interesting how longevity at the top of a conference holds more sway in perceptions than the relative quality of the conference. So it's best to be a power at the top of the MWC, but NIU has more juice than AAC teams because no one's really taken perennial ownership of the top there yet.

Dont tell that to the AAC fuckboys... everytime i mention NIU there as an expansion or replacement candidate for their conference they hiss and shoo me away. It's like they and their conference are allergic to football success

That's because they still have the mindset of being the Big East and still being a P5 conference. It'll take a few years of thrashings before they should be back on level ground where they should be.

I agree. It's still a jump from where we are currently, for sure.

LOL! The AAC, really are a bunch of fuckboys! Funny that's exactly how I described them to one of my buddies.
