Then I'll turn this on whilst waiting for the Coke 600 to start. If I haven't made it clear by now, I'm a super huge auto racing junkie. Today is the greatest racing day of the year. Watched the Monaco Grand Prix this morning, currently watching the Indy 500, then finish up with the Coke 600.
Hamilton will not do a late pit stop next year

Lol at that "ball 4" right down the middle that crossed at the knees.

Outside corner, throwing balls for days. Not going to get that call when you can't throw a fastball remotely close to the plate.
Besides I'm sure I can find a pitch ecu threw that was a strike called a ball

Is next year's host site announced yet? Houston or Greenville should play host to the tournament.

Not that was that important, no you couldn't. And that was Robinson's 3rd pitch, his first being a fastball for a strike.

Not the same pitcher. Robinsons very first pitch was a fastball right down the middle. On the other hand, that guy has been awarding high inside pitches as "strikes". Dudes inconsistent at best, biased at worst. That said, a guy who is struggling won't get close calls, which makes the high inside ECU "strike" calls even more curious.

Two best teams in the conference today,Houston and East Carolina. . . Coach David Pierce of Tulane and South Florida will be there next year in the championship game. Book it! Two up and coming programs in college baseball.

Let us make a bet next year at the beginning of the season on it. You know the job Pierce has done at Rice under Wayne and at Sam Houston. The South Florida coach was a long time coach under Rick Jones at Tulane and a great recruiter to get Tulane to Omaha twice.

He hasn't been THAT bad, it's just a shame he missed that one pitch which allowed ECU to break it open. If that gets called a strike, it's likely still 3-1.

This season was a tightly packed group. It was unlikely the regular season champ and the tournament champ would be the same. Who knows who will win next year---way too many good teams.

His strike zone is definitly consistent. Extra on the low and inside to righties, less on the outside. Higher on the outside to righties, less on the inside

I'm game. You have USF and Tulane making the Tournament final, I have every other situation.

We at Tulane have our fingers crossed that we get a NCAA bid Monday on the ESPNU show. We were a lock before the last two tournament games now 50 50 odds. I hope the AAC gets in Houston,East Carolina,Tulane and South Florida going to any regional other than the Baton Rouge regional. But Houston can handle LSU.

No doubt.
If we were going to lose the tournament, ECU is the one team I have no problem losing to. I figured we would have a pitching advantage today, and we simply didn't. Their #4 guy was solid and gave them 4 good innings, and this guy out of the pen is carving us up. ECU has it all from top to bottom, and I would be worried if I was Vandy, Florida State, Miami, or whoever's regional they end up in as the #2. Could be another 2014 LSU vs. Houston situation.

Our offense has gone cold... This is a pretty comfortable lead for ECU.
