OT: Anybody else slow at work?
I literally have only received 1 email this morning at work, which is why I am posting so much here. I've been trying to decide what I want to eat for lunch.

The thread on azn discrimination has me wanting Sushi.
The thread on racists has me thinking KFC.
I was going to crack a joke about craving taco bell, but I'll refrain.

Is anybody else as slow at work as I am today?

Yea it's pretty slow. I got a call to be on in about 5 minutes.. I actually brought in my external hard drive for a guy to copy some files off of because it's slow.

If it slows down anymore, I'll probably start looking at stuff I can buy for our wee one that's expected to arrive in Sept.

It's going to be a boy.

His New Orleans Saints onsies (three in total), his two NO Saints knit hats, his 2 Steeler (my wife is a Steelers fan) onsies, his Southern Miss football onsie and USM knit hat have arrived this week.

He's expected the opening weekend of college football, so if anything, he'll be the most styling kid in the nursery.

haha. we are having a boy as well. His mother and myself both graduated from Southern, so he will be fully decked out in nothing but Southern gear. I'll probably get some falcons stuff as well.

he is expected 2 days before we play App State on Thursday night on ESPN. Hoping he brings us some luck.

Trying to talk his mom into letting me make a onsie that says "I H8 App St8" that he can wear on game day.

he will be named Fritz. Technically, that will be his middle name, but that is what he will go by. His first name is my own.

We are having a girl due in October and I am scared schitless. No idea how to raise a girl. I guess I'll raise her as a snob. Probably the best way to keep the trash away. Son will be 6.5 years older and out of the house by the time she is in high school so I won't be able to rely on him to keep the trash away.

I wanted a boy. I would have been happy with a girl, but I really wanted a boy first.

We are going with Theresa. Boy is named Henry. We like traditional, names, but not too popular.

Boys are fun. Not saying a girl won't be, but I'll have to adjust my style a bit and figure out what makes a girl confident.

well I wanted to name him Tim Jr, and call him TJ, but mom nixed TJ. She wanted to name him Fritz, so we compromised. He is named after me, but will go by Fritz.

I love these days...with half the staff out, I can get a crap load of work done since I don't have people constantly darkening my office door.

RE: OT: Anybody else slow at work?
Interesting.

Fridays is when I get almost no visitors the entire day. Makes for a very boring and long day.

On another note.

I always wanted boys until I had my first daughter. Since then, I have always loved girls . No one will love you more than your own daughter.

I am usually slow on Friday's anyways. Not a lot of quotes or orders going on typically.
