The Warriors
So far they are undefeated in the post-season except when playing the Grizzlies. Makes you feel slightly better.

RE: The Warriors
Yet somehow the Grizz let one little adjustment cause them to lose 3 straight games. I'm still scratching my head on how we completely abandoned everything that was working in games 2 & 3.

The Warriors made adjustments that the Griz could not overcome. It had nothing to do with coaching, skemes, player effort, etc. The Warriors were simply a better team than the Grizz over a seven game series.

I expect they'll win it all.

Well it didn't help that Tony wasn't healthy and despite what he said and others said Mike want healthy either. Of both those guys are healthy that series would've gone 7

Yep, Tony was at 60% or so. Conley was just worn out missing a lot of shots he normally makes. We could have beaten Golden State one more time but I doubt we could have beaten them two more times.

With a healthy TA and Conley we would have had the best shot of any team in the NBA to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series. The championship is theirs to lose.

Adjustments aren't a part of coaching? You guys have been watching Pastner coach for too long

GS had the best record in the league this year and - according to objective statistics - is among the top five all-time NBA teams. Coaching adjustments or lack thereof were not the driver of the Griz defeat. Phil Jackson in his prime on the sideline would not have changed the series result. He had Jordan. Kerr has Curry.
Stop and pause and consider that the Griz had a wonderful season. They made it to the second round ( a feat only accomplished by 8 of 30 NBA teams) and are one of only two teams to make the NBA play offs for each of the past five years. The Griz fans were terrific, also. It made me proud of my home town.

RE: The Warriors
Herrington speaks the truth --
Win 55 games? Finish a single game out of the No. 2 seed in a brutally tough Western Conference, with a record that would have gotten the No. 2 seed in the East?
That’s regular season, you say. How about the fifth-most playoff wins in the league during this five-year playoff run, topped only by teams featuring Lebron James, Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant, and by the Indiana Pacers, who can boast only one more win in the easier conference?
What about series wins? The only West teams that have won more playoff series in the same time span are the Thunder and Spurs. If the Warriors win a title, they’ll have one more.
How about being the last small-market team standing?
“Championship or bust” is a satisfying thing to trumpet, I guess, and you always want players to be disappointed in anything less. But in the absence of a transcendent individual star, it’s nothing but empty bluster. The reasonable expectation for any franchise not blessed with such brilliance is to have an enjoyable, contending team.
