Provided Them With Condoms

First Oakland, CA schools can't suspend students for "wilfull disobedience" and now a teacher is providing classrooms and condoms so middle school students can have sex. What the LIberals have done to public schools is turning them into lawless zoos.

Quote:A Georgia middle school teacher was arrested Tuesday, charged with allowing his students to have sex in the classroom.

Quentin Wright, a 25-year-old math teacher and coach at the Champion School in Stone Mountain, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Atlanta's CBS affiliate. He has been fired by the DeKalb County school district.

The investigation into Wright's actions began after a 14-year-old student's mother found sexually-explicit text messages to and from Wright on her son's phone.

FOX 5 News in Atlanta reports that the arrest warrant claims Wright "willfully encourage(d) a minor under the age of 17 to commit the offense of statutory rape." The warrant also says Wright would "arrange with minor children times when the classroom would be empty and the storage closet would be available, would provide condoms, and would keep others from entering the classroom."

Wright's mother, Joyce Wright, told CBS46 that he is innocent of the charges.

"He loved his students; he would never do anything to harm his students," she told the TV station. "If you had asked any of the students how Mr. Wright has loved them, cared for them and been a good teacher, a good mentor, they would all say he was a great teacher."

Wow, I'm shocked, just absolutely shocked that they fired him and didn't put him on "paid administrative leave".

You need to learn more about American history if you think that a teacher doing this, getting caught, and getting arrested for it is a low point for America.

I'm pretty sure he's just using a figure of speech. Obviously there are worse moments but this one certainly doesn't rank toward the top.

Sure, but it still isn't really evidence of anything besides a single teacher being a complete dirtbag. If there were a cover up, or other teachers involved, or something I'd understand the sentiment. But this teacher was a dirtbag, he got caught, and he was swiftly dealt with.

The point is that he didn't literally mean what he said but was just making a basic social commentary.

But it's lazy, and wrong, and those sorts of statements have a way of slowly becoming facts in the minds of people who aren't reminded that those statements are wrong.
