Cato could have possibly done very well if he had been in ODU's system.

They were both great college qb's.

Against everyone but Marshall 05-stirthepot02-13-banana
Absolutely agree.

I think if you changed the QBs in the Marshall/ODU game, the result would remain the same. The Herd was just light years bigger, stronger and faster than the Monarchs.

Wow, how impressive. You do know we were playing with mostly FCS recruits right?

TH has an NFL contract, meanwhile Cato is getting paid in psychedelic bills with images of beavers, MP's, and a queen on them.

Congrats to Taylor Heinicke, wish him well.

It seems odd, when fellow C-USA mates are lauded for their accomplishments, the topic is turned into an achievement award thread for Marshall football.

3 years of FCS recruits and 2 years of FBS (1 of which most were being redshirted). Job well done, Marshall.

Did you lick Cato's jock and get a hair in your mouth or something? He was the face of this conference for four years, and represented himself well the entire time.

Knock off your bullcrap. You ODU people constantly talk out of both sides of your mouth (some of you). First you say that you're big time ballers and all of your players are FBS quality. Then when someone reminds you of an ass stomping you were handed, now you cry and whine that you are FCS recruits. Which way do you want it??? You can't have both.

No one has said otherwise. BTW you are doing an exceptional job of representing this conference at the other end of the gastrointestinal tract.

When someone posts that a former member of their team is doing well in their post-college endeavors and fans of a rival school feel the need to bring up wholly irrelevant facts and highjack the thread in order to disparage the accomplishments of that player then it is fairly obvious to any unbiased observer who is acting like a spoiled adolescent.

Why an OP about Heincke becomes a referendum on Cato and his real or perceived superiority is baffling.

Nope. The ECU butt couldn't brag on TH(I wouldn't have minded one bit) without taking a shot at Cato. That started the whole thing. Lets be truthful now buddy. He doesn't technically even belong here.

He's smaller, better have a strong arm cause you can't dance around like in college. At least he is taller and better than Cato.

Sad that is the highlight of your program. Guess it is a compliment. I'm not sure if ours is WVU, UNC, NCState, Miami, VirginiaTech, Syracuse, South Carolina.... Oh that's right we don't care. Only focus is next season and today.

Highlight of our program is sending you to the ACK with your tail tucked between your legs. We got scoreboard on every one of you defecting ******* except UCF. Suck on that on your way back to your mediocre board and conference.

I like that idea.
People constantly remind us of how we got destroyed by Marshall and North Carolina while totally ignoring the fact that we've been playing football for like 5 years. In our situation the future is what scares anybody, especially if you consider how fast we moved up. For some they have to bring up the past, because they know in the future they won't be able to talk as much garbage. Five years of existence and playing at the FBS level hmm... ODU looks a lot like TCU and Louisville the way they are coming up.
I have a lot of respect for the East Carolina fans on this forum because they have a really solid team while being very competitive against power five schools. I feel like the Pirates can talk trash and be justified, unlike some school thats located in West Virginia whose fans thrive off its cupcake schedules and is cupcake Bowl victories.
