The FEDS arrested half of the governing board on Bribery, Racketeering and Money Laundering Charges. Surely a prosecutor can be convinced an investigation is warranted when you have public funds being abused by a public institution.

So would you get FBI agents from the Birmingham field office , or the Montgomery or Mobile location ?

I need help finding the speech Watts gave after the No confidence vote and the formation of the Athletic Task Force.

I think I'd let the U.S. Attorney decide that. There are a lot of federal dollars involved in universities, and in research universities in particular. Federal money as a reason to investigate, and then a nice juicy RICO case. That would take a while but ti would work just fine for me.

You see what I'm alluding to ? I don't want anybody involved that will be swayed by tickets or gridiron ledgends.

Dr. Vickers replied to my email today in a way that let me know that both have been read.

"Thank you again, for your email..."

My second email was much more about my personal story with UAB and was sent from a different email address. This lets me know that my emails were both indeed read fully. Who is reading them? I don't know, but at least someone is taking the time to read them.

A few top-level administrators answered my emails with thoughtful responses. They're being read.

Dr. Vickers replied to my email today as well.

Emailed VPs just now. Probably too long to expect detailed reply, but I'm glad they are reading them.

I spoke too soon. Interesting reply from Dr. Dale:

"The decision will not be made until Monday. He is getting input from everyone before such a decision is made. With all of the rumors flying about, one wonders about the truth."

Man, I heard about that father against daughter thing, but I just thought it was a joke at the expense of the rabid fans. Truth definitely is stranger than fiction.

I'm about to go for another round of emails since it really is as much as I can do now.

Does it mean anything that I got a response from Kahn today that my form is in processing, and I will get a signed and executed copy returned to me when finished? Probably not, but interesting timing.

Dr. Vickers wrote me back today. Standard generic response but it's the first one I've gotten so it's good to know they're being read, I guess.

Kahn hasn't responded to any my emails. I'll be calling her office tomorrow to make sure my pledge counted!
