Game Tickets
I really don't want to miss out on good tickets for the MSU game, and also have several MSU alumni buddies who will be coming with my son and I too, so I wanted find several tickets. This morning I was looking, and season tickets for premium seats (whatever that means) are $210 per seat. Not a bad value if I lived in the area, but I live in Standish, on the other side of the state, and therefore I will likely only be attending the MSU, CMU, and probably one other game, at most.
My question is, if I have to wait to get MSU tickets, will I end up paying $100-150 per ticket (for good seats) based on demand, where it might be wise just to purchase season tickets (even though I will be wasting half the tickets), or will I be able to pick up several seats for face value or little more than face?

RE: Game Tickets
FYI, I talked to a ticket rep who said they will be doing a "pick 3" deal in June, where you can pick three games for $123. Sounds like perfect deal for me.

Why does this feel like one of Dip's monolog threads, where he is commenting on a game that only he is watching? Those are the funniest threads of all.

It feels wrong to introduce another poster to this thread...
That said, I bought season tix this year so we're guaranteed seats and may be able to "buy +2" for the MSU game if no friends/family decide to take me up on the opportunity. This place is certainly where I'll bring it up if it's a possibility.

If there was going to be another poster on this thread, stdatwmu, I was hoping it would be you.

RE: Game Tickets
I'm a bit worried about being able to score tickets for the MSU game. Will be flying in for it and have a group of a dozen or so K'zoo area friends and family that will also want to tailgate and go to the game. Thought about purchasing season tix, but not sure if that's the right route for someone who lives 2,000 miles away. Right now, I'm holding out hope that we'll be able to score somewhat decent tickets online once the general ticket sales start. But I already bought plane tickets and am going any way possible, even if it means paying $100 to a scalper for a good seat on gameday.

I feel like I read somewhere a few weeks back that they'd sold maybe an additional 400-450 at that point?

RE: Game Tickets
Probably most of them are MSU fans ensuring that they have a ticket to the game, and the chance to buy two more.

After we beat MSU, brovol can buy the rest of their tickets on stubhub.

After we beat MSU?
You do know George Perles is no longer coaching Spartans, right?
If we beat MSU, we'll be looking for new coach before MACC.

You sure MSU isn't excluded from that deal?

I'd just cough up the bread for the season tickets, cherry pick your games, and give the tickets you don't need to some deserving young family.

Msu game is part of the deal, per ticket rep. That is the deal I will go with. Its perfect for me. Just hope seat availability is still as great.
