pretty damn good, but he'll never get roughed up like in the days of Jordan, Bird and Magic. Someone would have made him think about those shots by now.

^This.

I know one can't change the era's but the 80's and especially the 90's were very physical and brutal in the NBA

RE: Steph Curry
In the first half of game 3, western conference championship, even the commentators were noticing how Curry fouled at least 3 times but no call. Looks like it's shaping up to be a Cleveland-Golden State final...hope it's competitive.

I could not watch the game, but I read the box score and saw Curry hit 7 of 9 threes despite being targeted (I assume) by Houston defenders. He is an electric and entertaining player second only to LeBron as the world's best player, IMO.[/align]

RE: Steph Curry
It was fun to see Curry messing with a Houston fan. The fan stood up and Curry drained a 3 righr in front of him then hit several more in the same area. The guy is fun to watch.

He gives the small 'not so athletic' guys something to shoot for.
I'm not sure why they call him that, though. He looks pretty athletic letting it fly from anywhere on court and hitting his shots.

it was great to see him box out Howard and get that rebound - humiliation

Im not buying that. The Warriors are so good because they play hard and smart at the same time. It may look like it but they aren't just out there running around and throwing up shots

same applies for Curry. You're talking like he's out there playing streetball

A. I've never seen 'streetballers' hit shots like Curry do. :) Maybe I'm hanging on the wrong streets....?

B. He is playing within the structure of the Offense: They get him a microsliver of an opening and he jacks up shots that go in.

C. I got ten more mins of being at work, so someone else will need to pick up the thread.

Asta la vista, Baby and Happy Memorial Day! 04-cheers

It's another Festivus Miracle that he was somehow able to avoid the NBA concussion protocall and re-enter the game just now after bouncing his head off the court earlier and being down and out for minutes.

I say yes - IF he continues to shoot like this. NOTHING suggests he won't, so if I'm projecting I would say he IS the best shooter in the game right now and WILL be the best ever when it's all said and done.

RE: Steph Curry
What make Steph such a great shooter is that he shoots it that well off the bounce. Most of your great shooters can only do it spotting up. Steph does it off the dribble, with a pump fake, on the break, off screens, stepping back etc.
