The WiiU is HD. And WiiU games are in HD.

Meh...lol

Yet you'll still share your opinion as a "gamer" on such topics as if it's an informed one. Funny indeed.

Dude, they were a generation behind on getting HD into their consoles. I LOVE the 3DS, but the WiiU is just not my cup of tea. I really wish they'd go the way of Sega, because that vast majority of non-Japanese gamers have moved on from their console hardware, and they'd probably not be in such dire financial straits.

How would you know it's not your cup of tea when you know **** all about it?

Whatever your reasons and my opinion of them, you're missing out especially if you enjoy the 3DS.

I'm looking forward to the stuff that I don't know about at E3. That's the only thing that gets me excited about the game industry circle jerk.

I had a roommate who owned one back while I was in grad school (2012-2014)...just couldn't get into it, especially given that a lot of the games I typically play aren't available for the platform. I can't justify buying it for 4 video games at the moment, but if they boost the Exclusive IP, I may revisit it.

And I figured my facetiousness with the HD comment was pretty apparent, but I guess now.

Anyone who has the Xbox One but doesn't have EA Access is missing out! They're adding yet another game to the vault during E3.

RE: OT: The Official Video Game Discussion Thread (The Witcher 3 NOW OUT)
People aren't any less of a video gamer for owning a WiiU as they are more of a gamer owning a XBX1 or a PS4. As for the portables... I like my 3DS a lot and the glasses free 3D effect is great--especially if you have the N3DSXL units.... the new panels really do give you a wider viewing angle to experience the 3D. I play more games now with my N one that my old one because of that.

I'm not gonna sit here and defend my ownership of Nintendo consoles or go after owners of other consoles but I will say Nintendo has more games I actually want to/like to play on them. And considering my budget, I can only really afford to support one console at a time--the last time I tried to have two current systems... I ended up only buying games for one of them so it wasn't even worth owning the other in hindsight.

I enjoy my games, hope others enjoy theirs.

Really want this to be good, loved all the stuff that has come out so far for it. We need a good bat-**** crazy fast paced shooter, we haven't had one in a long time (Bulletstorm was the last one to my recollection).

I loved Doom 3. That may be an unpopular sentiment, but it made me love series that built off of that in Quake 4, and Dead Space.

I hadn't been that scared to play a game since Resident Evil the first time, and since then the scariest game I had played (albeit an independent, short game) was Slender: The Eight Pages

Yes it is. I use the 4 for distinction until at one point it won't be confused by the original doom's.

No Man's Sky, the indie space exploration game that has captivated gamers since it was revealed in December, creates worlds on the scale of two to the power of 64. In numerical terms, that's 18.4 quintillion planets, or 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 if you want to see all of the digits. Visiting that many planets in the game at the rate of 1 per second would take about, oh, 584 million years.

Sweet.

Eh, it's probably like Borderlands having 60 bajillion unique weapons, when in reality it's a few hundred weapons with a few dozen different qualities that can range in the thousands.

Still, 100 planets would be cool in and of itself 03-lmfao

Go to the 3hr mark and see what you can do in Super Mario Maker. Basically, in this game you get free reign to design a 2D Mario level and have the graphics of SMB, SMB3, SMW, and NSMB games. You will have access to put in anything you can think of that has appeared in any of those games and also "stack" stuff so technically speaking you can have flying chain chomps and piranha plants. And it looks like you can do warp pipes and doors...make air ship levels... all kinds of stuff.... its literally limitless.
