RE: next year exempt tournaments
While I absolutely hate next years preseason tourney, I also understand it a bit.

UC will be playing road games against Xavier & OSU who both will be uber talented. Then they will be facing UNLV at home, plus a few more high majors that haven't been announced

now that you mention it, that weak tournament will be a nice break.

That’s a solid field. 3 P5, 1 BE, good Ivy team, good A10 team and the returning American champs.

I think you got Fairfield and UCONN confused. We're not in the field.

Was in Fairfield for a soccer tournament a few years ago. Nice place.

I'm guessing some of these not so exciting tournaments AAC programs are getting themselves in is due to racking up some early W's before league competition begins.

A bit off topic, but...

2019 Battle 4 Atlantis:

Alabama, North Carolina, Oregon, Michigan, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Seton Hall, and Southern Miss.

We won’t win a game.

Wow, that is by far the best field that I have seen for there. I've long been puzzled how/why Cancun has had mostly mediocre fields.

I thought it was an eight-team group for some reason though.

it's 2 seperate 4 team groups. A top team division and then a 4 team division with teams that go on the road for the 2 hosting games on the mainland.

Great, thank you for that information. I assume that you still have four games each day then.
