A feeding tube, the guy is fighting for his life. This has been a very tough year for the team and his family. Its amazing what they have accomplished this season under the circumstances. I'm not sure what his situation will be long term.

Thanks, I think I knew this from an earlier post I had skimmed over.

For what it is worth my thoughts for him and his family and extended ULL family.

Wow good job, you win douche post of the thread. Sure it was a bad coaching decision, but leave the man's health issues out of it.

What do you attribute it to? He's smarter than what we saw.

My guess was he was thinking Jordan had managed to get out of a number of situations earlier in the game and due to the pitch count would be tough to throw her a complete game the next day. Christina Hamilton had been player with a partially torn rotator cuff so was reluctant to put her in , and was reluctant to put in Alex Stewart due to the pressure and trying to keep Auburn from getting a read on her in the first game.

There was one of the walks that I thought was a strikeout that would have ended the game, but after the first two walks I might have made a change. We all have opinions, but I have to trust Mike as he knows what's going on with the team better than any of the rest of us and he has a history of success that has built that trust. The positive is we have all field positions back next year. The negative is we'll have some pitchers that will either have to recover from injury, perform in a more prominent role, or have some talented freshmen step up. I guess it's good that we'll be scoring eight runs a game as well.

Urban legend stopped now, Hamilton did not have a torn rotator cuff, but she has something wrong. Has not been close to the pitcher she was last year, and her freshman year. Coach held her out of the regular season for a long time due to an undisclosed injury.

Mike knows his players, he knows he is there to win the super regional not necessarily game one. I will wait for his thinking to be made clear, and it will make sense.

Express, Lotief told the media in February that Hamilton had indeed injured her shoulder during early workouts in the cold weather. Her injury was much more then a mental problem. When she was healthy last season, she could still reach 65MPH although she is more effective with the drop and changeup. The hardest she threw this season was in the Baylor Regional at 61MPH. Fact!
