I'm currently e-mailing Mike Aresco an angry, and strongly worded e-mail as to why he wouldn't choose Seth Romero, or at the very least University of Tulane head varsity baseball coach; David Pearce.

While Savacool usually trolls, all he is doing is arguing for his guy. Pierce certainly would have been a reasonable selection. You guys act like it would have been a ridiculous choice, which is, well, ridiculous.

Just a joke.

Congrats to Coach Godwin on some well-earned honor and recognition.

AAC is a big-time league and there will always be multiple strong candidates for awards like this.

A few coaches could have won this award and I would be perfectly fine. Glad to see the AAC have some quality teams and coaches.

He took a program out of the gutter with his great staff and brought us to an NCAA at large bid after six years of stagnation with the same team that had a losing record last year.

Pierce is good coach. If Tulane had been 3-1 this year against ECU instead of the reverse?...Pierce would have been the overwhelming pick IMO.

I'd vote our AD for "AD of the year" if he'd fire Looney. Guy is all hat, no cowboy, who can recruit but cant coach to save his life.
