I know from my days spent in Montgomery that the UA BOT asked to be made exempt from these new Open Meeting bills. The last I heard those request had been refused, but that was some time ago.

When you contact your representative make sure he/she knows you do not favor BOT exemptions.

Well it's never stopped them in the past, don't know why it'd stop them in the future exemption or not

It's not a matter of stopping them. It is a matter of of whether we can convict them if we catch them doing it.
