Dear EagleSam,
I'm only trying to point out (as you have said) that two seasons do not make a trend. You seem to think that because Western had a good season last year that it may continue. Hell, I think Coach Creigton is building something special at Eastern.
I brought up the luck thing because as I said earlier, Eastern could have been 8-4 when ending 6-6.
If Western ends up 6-6 or worse....what does that say about Coach Fleck? We will obviously have to wait and see how things turn out, but until then, I'm not sold on that program in Kalamazoo.

Ken, instead of being jealous about what Fleck has accomplished, worry more about what coach Creighton hasn't accomplished. Until EMU has a winning season, you really can't criticize a coach who has.

Dear Bob,
I am not jealous of Coach Fleck, or Western Michigan for that matter. You have really read into something that wasn't anything I said. To me, one winning season proves nothing about any program. Let's see what happens this year.
You seem to be somewhat hypocritical when you talk about criticizing a winning coach. Haven't you been critical of Coach Murphy, yet he has had winning seasons? Seems like calling the kettle black here.
