UPDATE..Berkeley County, SC Deputy Ambushed By Gunman In Gas Station Parking Lot
[Image: 6oim9t.jpg]

Police are targets as never before because of the hate towards police preached by the race baiters and and leftists in America.

Quote:Berkeley County deputies continue the search for leads in the attempted murder of one of their colleagues Thursday night.

Authorities wrapped up a nearly 16-hour search on Friday for the man who shot Berkeley County Deputy Will Rogers at a Moncks Corner gas station.

Berkeley Co. Chief Deputy Rick Ollic said there is no indication the gunman is still in the large search area that included Cypress Gardens, which had to be closed because of the search.[…]

Authorities released surveillance video Friday afternoon that showed the suspected gunman carrying a maroon-colored sack moments after the shooting. Authorities believe the sack is made of silk and they want to know why it seems to be so important to the suspect.

“It seems to have meant something special to him,” Henerey said. “He didn’t leave it after he shot the deputy. He didn’t leave it after he wrecked the car. We don’t know, but it’s an unusual piece of equipment for a male to be walking around with.”

Eye Witnesses Describe A Calm Calculated Attack On Berkeley County, SC Sheriff’s Deputy…

Waiting to ambush any law enforcement officer who appeared.

Quote:The State Law Enforcement Division released incident reports and a sketch of a person of interest in Thursday night’s shooting of Berkeley County deputy Will Rogers at a Kangaroo Express in Monks Corner.

An eye witness to the shooting told investigators that a black male wearing a ski mask walked out of the woods straight to the front of the deputy’s Tahoe SUV and fired three shots with a silver revolver. When the suspect walked toward another SUV in the parking lot with his gun aimed at the driver, the witness turned and fled.

The driver of the second SUV told investigators the suspect ordered him out of his vehicle and he complied. The suspect then drove away in the2003 Hyundai Sante Fe, which was found later.

A surveillance camera at the convenience store/gas station captured the carjacking but there is no mention of a video of the shooting.

“The video shows a person wearing a white long sleeved shirt and dark colored pants carrying a red bag in his left hand. It appears the suspect was wearing something black on his head,” the incident report states.

Lt. Will Rogers, who was shot in the head, was lying on the ground and conscious when the first police officer arrived on scene. He told the officer he did not know what happened and was not aware that he was shot. Rogers was airlifted to the Medical University of South Carolina where he continues to be treated.

If you just look at a black teen, Obama holds a press conference.

But police being butchered on a massive scale? Just crickets on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Quote:Officials say the suspect accused of shooting a Berkeley County deputy last week is dead following a shootout with authorities, bringing an end to a 10-hour standoff in downtown Charleston.

Police say they were continuing tactical operations when the suspect, who had been holed up in an apartment at Robert Mills Manor since around 4 a.m., walked out of the apartment and fired shots at officers. Officers reportedly returned fire, killing the suspect.

The suspect told police he would not be taken alive, according to a Charleston Police spokesman.

Charleston Police Department announced the suspect's death via their Twitter account, @CharlestonPD, at 2 p.m. A press briefing will be held shortly at an on-site command post.

The suspect has not yet been identified.

Shortly before news broke that the suspect had been killed, over a dozen bangs that sounded like gunfire could be heard coming from the apartment building where SWAT and other officers were gathered.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to Robert Mills Manor on Beaufain Street around 4 a.m., where police say a hostage situation was underway with a man accused of shooting Berkeley County Deputy Lt. Will Rogers.

Good no money spent on a trial.

But I see it coming from the Protest Industry:

"Since no Police were hit when he shot his pistol, you didn't have to shoot him or shoot to kill."

These people think they get a Mulligan......

I see it coming where a conservative makes a claim about something that has not happened yet and blames liberals for it.

EDIT: Man, just a bit too late on the draw.

There is a Black Domestic Terrorist Organization called "Five Percent Nation" that somehow lost its "Media Outline" after a Ferguson Protest.

In it were lots of Tips on how to manipulate and deceive the Media and distort Public Opinion even in cases where the Police were justified.

There are lots of interests intentionally misrepresenting facts on both sides of this discussion. Not news to anyone.

RE: Berkeley County, SC Deputy Ambushed By Gunman In Gas Station Parking Lot UPDATE
UPDATE

Shooter Of SC Deputy Sheriff Comes Out Shooting And Is Taken Out With The Tax Payer Relief After A Ten Hour Standoff…

Way to go police. One less potential cop killer. He is dead and gone.

Quote:The man police suspected in the attempted murder of a Berkeley County deputy was identified through a DNA match, and was fatally shot by police after opening fire on them, authorities say.

Jerome Thomas Caldwell, 32, of Mount Pleasant, died after a 10-hour standoff, according to Charleston County Coroner Rae Wooten. Caldwell was pronounced dead at 1:59 p.m., Wooten said.

Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen said at 1:47 p.m. Thursday, Caldwell came out of the rear of the apartment in which he had been holed up since approximately 4 a.m. and fired multiple shots at police officers. The officers returned fire, fatally striking Caldwell, Mullen said.

On Thursday afternoon, Caldwell’s mother said she spoke on the phone to her son while he was inside the apartment and right before he decided to come out. According to the mother, Caldwell, who lived in Mount Pleasant, was in downtown because he was visiting his child in the hospital.

Caldwell’s mother said her son asked her to turn him over to investigators so the family would get the reward money.

Mullen said police negotiators were in contact with Caldwell throughout the day by telephone. Mullen also said shots had been heard inside the apartment throughout the day during those negotiations.

“Throughout these negotiations, there were discussions about shooting police officers, there were discussions about committing suicide, and there were also discussions about several demands that were made,” Mullen said. “As we talked with this individual, our goal was to have him come out peaceably, and this situation end without any incident.”

Mullen reiterated this was preliminary information in a fluid situation.

“There’s been a lot of developments that have occurred, and we are working with SLED,” Mullen said. “They are here on the scene, their crime scene is here, and they will be handling the investigation as we go forward. The police department will continue to cooperate in any way that we can.”

Mullen sent out their sympathies to Caldwell’s family, who he said would be receiving regular updates from police as the investigation continues.

During the standoff this thug endangered women and children by going from apartment to apartment by kicking a hole in the walls.

Somehow, I suspect the family law courts are involved in this man's story somewhere, or more likely, multiple places. Perhaps this man, as horrible as what he did was, "snapped" at the inherent unfairness of the family law system. Then decided to "take one for the team" in his mind...to go out as some sort of hero in his mind to the protesters in Ferguson, etc... I can totally see something like that as being his rationale for what he did. I totally disagree with violence, but like comedian Chris Rock said "I'm not sayin' he should've done it, but I understand."

Give it a day or so and I feel certain I'll be able to post an article from a Charleston area crime site that shows this thug has a long standing "relationship" with law enforcement.
