Attaboy, Grayson!! ONE OUT AWAY FROM AN UNDISPUTED SOLO CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

EDIT: Uh-oh, two-out single puts the tying run on 1st, winning run at the plate. C'mon, Matty!! Then a pinch-runner steals 2nd. An FIU single would tie the game here. LET'S GO, OWLS!!

Two out single Rios on deck. Steal of second. I can't watch.

I can't either, but it's cause I'm not there and don't have Owl Vision

It has been quite a TIGHTROPE that Rice has walked to claim this 20th straight season with a conference title. WAY TO GO OWLS!!

**When I looked around
I was headed down
But somebody had thrown me down a line (stopped me drowning)
Somebody had thrown me down a line!**

That is a very apt description.

RE: Rice vs. FIU (Saturday Game 1)
I'm still waiting for the offense to break out....and our baserunning issues are certainly not helping the situation.

We need Blake to give us at least 4 solid innings before handing off to Orewiler. A double header sweep and series win will go a long way toward putting Tuesday's and Friday's nightmares in the rear view mirror.
