Yep. He was a 21 year old senior who was to graduate today.

He was a member of the fencing team. Very sad.

His parents must be devastated. My best friend was killed in Fort Lauderdale in 1984 when he was 21. His parents were never the same.

The media term "closure" is a farce. There's never any closure.

Is this not the second time a ND student has fallen from some height and been killed or injured?

An offensive lineman fell from a balcony in Florida in 2010 before he enrolled.

I seem to remember a student that was working as a cameraman fell and was killed or hurt badly.

Yep. A student worker was killed in a scissors lift during football practice.

That's it.

I didn't mean to detract from this tragedy or insinuate anything. It just struck me as a major coincidence. It isn't something that happens on campuses every day.
