JAR gets new floor

I'm glad they didn't go crazy and make the whole floor some strange color combination in order to "stand out".

Hopefully new seats are next on the list.

Love it!

Now if there was just an image of an eagle thrashing a kangaroo that would make it even better 03-wink

Will a new coat of paint do? No more white cinder block walls to be seen, and the wooden bleachers are now navy blue. The whole arena is very dark now except for the new floor.

RE: JAR gets new floor
Got to see the JAR under game-day lighting last night for an exhibition game. It looks much improved. But the talk among the hardcore fans was more focused on future improvements. Replacing most of the seating, a new video board and stat boards, a lounge area with a window to the court, and more.

Get it right, it was Sam Malone Tech. BTW, I heard Norm Peterson shut down the Tommy Evans Lounge.

It was a big draw, 3,100 there. O/U on whether that beats the average Kent home attendance this year?
