RE: GS at Griz
That single play was game, set and match!
Took every bit of life out of the arena and our team
The refs just stared at each other like "are you gonna call that"? Oh crap, too late

Curry gives up the ball and we quit defending him
Hey Griz, they're gonna get it back to him.

Honestly don't think there's too much to feel bad about.
One really good basketball team lost to another really good basketball team.
One was just better than the other.

While we had a good season, we did not finish as a "really good basketball team".
The final weeks of the season cost us seeding position. Portland was terrible.
GS is a "really good team" and made us look feeble.
I expected them to make 3s, but not to shut down our inside game.

Golden State proved their championship mettle in this series. The title is theirs, barring a freak injury. Hats off to them.
It was a spectacular season; the best ever for the Grizzlies. There were some bad breaks along the way. I still love this team.

GS hit shots from seemingly every angle and distance and is defensely underrated. IMO, the Griz worked hard and were not out coached.
GS was simply the better team than the Griz for four games. Tip the hat to the Warriors and move on.

RE: GS at Griz
Golden State simply better. Not sure there was a conspiracy. Memphis played more inside and were heavily rewarded for that. Before intentionally fouling Memphis shot 30 free throws to Golden State's 8. Yes, Oakland shot more outside shots but Memphis went inside and indeed were rewarded for it.
This year's Oakland team is elite level, along with a few others...LAC, San Antonio, Houston, Cleveland and maybe Atlanta. And every one of those teams is capable of bad outings, or in the case of LA, an incredibly bad quarter.
Memphis, again, was solid. This is the fifth year of the core being together...one injury to OKC assisted run to a conference final sweep loss was the deepest run, and the highlight was a game three home win before losing three straight this season.
Can they attract a difference maker? Or will they be a sixth year of fuzzy but just good not great...something that really bothers some folks.

Damn good shooting night by Curry. Hard to beat GS when he plays like that.
Wish things could have been different but still a hell of a season.
Won the Portland series and beat the 67 game winners GS twice.
Looking forward to next season.
We need all of our key pieces to come back, bring in a couple of shooters and it could be even better.
Great season Grizz so proud of you!

GS at Griz
Our guys are getting older and we need to figure out a way to play fewer mins like the Spurs do. We had a shot with a healthy TA and of course Conley (who was banged up even before the fracture). Play our young guys more and maybe grab a shooter or two. It may not be a bad idea splitting Gasol and ZBo up. ZBo could be our primary scorer in the 2nd unit. Hopefully we resign Gasol, and he and Conley come back with a vengeance next season.

The Griz were lucky to win Game 3. The Warriors closed to 4, but we got a crucial 3, they missed subsequent shots, and we rebuilt our lead.
Conspiracy? The fix is in? I doubt it. GS won 65 games this year, last loss at home was in January. Hope they win it all.

"We need a shooter or two"
Same story now for five years. I love our players but the reality is that this lineup is going to have to change at its nucleus if we want to win a championship.
I will hate to see it change because it's been incredibly fun, but the Randolph-Conley-Gasol core can't win a championship by adding whatever pieces will be available.

I think it's the offense we run. Courtney Lee shot 40% for the season from 3 and 46% in the playoffs. That's acceptable. I honestly don't know how to improve it though. The bottom line is we won 2 games against the team with the NBA's best record with 2 starters at maybe 50%. I'm interested to see how Adams and Russ Smith are developed. Need to draft the best shooting wing we can. Or a stretch 4.

Booker from UK. Is he coming out in this draft?

I'd love Booker or RJ Hunter at that pick.

Memphis is more than solid. Let's see how Houston and Clippers fare against the Warriors. This series went to 6 games with a hobbled Conley and TA. That's 2 players in your starting lineup that were hurt; most teams cannot survive that. Injuries hit us at the inopportune time, and sometimes that's how the chips fall.
