Better yet, how about a recommitment to football by UIC and UWM?

Wis.-Milwaukee is actually looking at restarting their football program just like Wichita State. I would not count 2 former MVC football playing members.
Washburn and West Texas A&M.

6 MVC - keep autobid, 5 MAC, 4 SBC, UAB

That's 9 current FBS, Missouri State on deck, other possibilities.

This would, at least, be on a par with CUSA and be a 2 or 3 bid league in basketball. Tourney in St. Louis.

Any takers?

Though there is no way this ever happens, I like it as it would allow the four privates schools in the MVC to join up with Valpo, Detroit, Oral Roberts and one or both of the Nashville private schools to form a new league.
