And this is just from dropping an FCS football program, which should have a lesser impact on a school than dropping an FBS program in a big city in the southeast.

Hope for the future:

Maybe one day we'll be announcing a 30k seat horseshoe stadium on the Southside. Never stop fighting.

There are big differences - from the first article:

"And when ETSU attempted to bring football back in 2007, only to have the first step in the process – a gradual increase in student athletic fees – strongly voted down by students,...."

“It’s just sad. Usually, something like this is done and there’s an uproar,” Stubbs said. “If somebody came into Tennessee High today and said, ‘We’ve decided you can no longer have football,’ people would revolt. There’d be some hell to pay in this little old town of Bristol. There’d be a war in this town.” But there was no riot when ETSU dropped football. There was no large outcry or protest. Football at ETSU was just gone."

This is why we will never stop fighting.

That is a pretty nifty design of not only the stadium & seating but the surrounding grounds for tailgates & other pregame stuff for students & alumni atmosphere
