Interesting...didn't know they are 2nd all time in rushing yards by teammates in a single season.
Lynch - 1,920
Stingily - 1,119
Total - 3,039

Who is #1?

I love seeing all that NIU game video on an NFL team's site.

Wishing Cam the best of luck - hope he can become what they are looking for.

yeah i dont think that is accurate about them being the 2nd. i have not done any research, but i would imagine there have been many more times 2 players on a team totalled 3,000+ yards in a season.

just this last year Melvin Gordon ran for 2500+ and the backup had 900+
and in 2013 james white and gordon totalled 3053

even when barry sanders had his record year he had 2,628. that means someone else would have had to gain 412 yards to be above j lynch and cam.

....maybe just my pessimism kicking in though

Maybe they were #2 for QB/RB combination?

Or perhaps most yards with the initials "J. C."? 03-idea

RE: Steelers Depot: Cam Stingily Review
I'm really interested to see how ACRB, Huff, and Keith Harris Jr. do this year.

I know Cam was a fan favorite on here, but he was extremely limited in what he could do. Both ACRB and Harris have shown they can be used in the pass game, and we all have high hopes for Huff. With those three in addition to Hare and Tommy/Turner on jet sweeps, the running game has a chance to be better than it was last year, IMO.

People (myself included) took his blocking skills for granted.

He was a great linebacker, I just don't think he was asked to do it much last year. With Lynch, yeah he served as a lead blocker all the time. Last year he was really only asked to do it on jet sweeps and on the rare occasion they ran the triangle backfield.

RE: Steelers Depot: Cam Stingily Review
The Huskies haven't had a running back with a run over 50 yards since 2012, nor a TD run over 50 yards since Chad Spann in 2010. The running backs the past seasons have done a good job, but none of them had the right combination of size and speed. I'd love to see one of the guys take a long one all the way this season.

....and that guy is Jordan Huff. I predict he'll take a couple to the house from 50+.

To be fair though, the primary RB those two seasons was Cam. He's not going to hit too many home runs.

And Hare had an 80 yard TD last year.

RE: Steelers Depot: Cam Stingily Review
Based on the video, and what we've seen personally, Cam's best shot to make the team could be as a fullback instead of a runningback.
