Old team (season ticket holder 1964 to 1973) vs new team. I have to cheer for my BOLTS. Hope it is a good series.

RE: GO BOLTS
Tampa Bay is a heck of a team and the city supports their team well. They won a Stanley Cup in 2004 and were #9 in average attendance this regular season (18823). They have consistently had a higher average attendance than the Tampa Bay Rays, one of the few markets where the NHL outdraws MLB on average, which is saying alot because the Rays have a great record despite their small payroll having played in the World Series in 2008 and tied with the Yankees for 1st in the AL Eastern DIvision this year.

Playoff hockey in June, gotta love it04-bow

RE: GO BOLTS
Thousands of Canadians live in Florida as do thousands of transplants from cities that have NHL teams. Ice Hockey participation and attendance is growing throughout America. The NHL has more teams that average above 18k attendance (17) than the NBA (15). If Hockey doesn't belong in Florida or the Sunbelt as you seem to assert than neither does the NBA, Atlanta made it to the conference finals and only fills 93% of their seating capacity

Hockey does not belong in Florida.

Jamaica must never have a bobsled team

These are the Laws of Nature: Rules 4.169 and 4.435, respectively. Plus, there may also be a mention of that in John 3:16.

I hate to admit it but there is a lot of truth in this: http://www.tampabay.com/features/your-te...es/2231906

Plus the fact that the Lightning won't allow Blackhawk jerseys in the premium seats.
