Pro athletes that return to get their degree
Jarret Jack graduated from GT last semester; 10 years after leaving Tech for the NBA and still making millions on the court.

Two current GT NFL players are in class this semester (Michael Johnson and Philip Wheeler) and definitely aren't hurting for money either. I believe Megatron has been taking classes on and off too as he promised his parents he'd get his degree.

I think this is just amazing that these guys come back to get their degree after hitting it big in the pros. I'm not sure I would have the discipline/will to do so.

I'm sure there are other stories like this, but I only hear of the GT ones.

Micahel Johnson graduating this Saturday. Not bad for someone who just signed a $20 million contract.

While I was still playing I think I'd find it very hard. Once finished, however, I'd be looking for the next thing to do.

Gorgui Dieng left Louisville after the championship in 2013. He currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He received his degree this past weekend.
