I'm a Patriot fan first. I'm also a Cowboy fan because I've lived in Dallas for 30 years and that's where my kids were raised.

Yes, Jerry has made some good moves lately. If they can get Adrian Peterson, that might be the final piece of the puzzle. They'll have to give up a lot of future draft picks, but Romo only has three or four years left. The window of opportunity is closing.

They need to strike now..a 2016 First and maybe Third Round could do it....adding Greg Hardy, Randy Gregory, Byron Jones and Collins to go with Witten, Dez could/would get them their 6th Lombardi...

What on earth makes you think the Patriots didn't deflate the balls versus the Ravens, a game in which the Ravens were the better team, the Patriots were outplayed in and were extremely lucky to win even though they were playing at home?

Cheaters don't just cheat once. They cheat a lot. And once you are caught cheating, you lose all benefit of doubt/presumption of innocence.

And the "had no impact" argument is maybe the lamest ever. I mean, imagine if before a Poker game I stuff a couple of aces up my sleave and use them to give me four of a kind and win a huge pot, but it turns out I didn't need them because without them I would have had a Full House, which would have won the pot anyway? If I was caught using those aces, would the game officials and other players exonerate me from the cheating charge and I would get to keep the pot if I could show that I didn't really need the bogus aces to win it?

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Remember, in three playoff games, they Patriots only looked like the better team against one of them, the Colts. That's no small achievement, because they have dominated the Colts the last three seasons at a time when the Colts have given just about everyone else fits.

But against the Ravens and Seahawks, they were out-played statistically, trailed most of the second half, and were extremely lucky to win either game much less both. Heck, all the Seahawks had to do was give the ball to Lynch one more time and they lose their 3rd straight Super Bowl. This was by no means a dominant team.

At the end of the day whether people like it or not the Current Owners-Winners of the Lombardi Trophy/World Champions are the New England Patriots...don't really think the are shedding any tears because they achieved their goal by any means necessary....31 Other Teams would trade places with them...07-coffee3

RE: OT: DeflateGate Report: Brady Cheated ... Kraft, it's time to Apologize
If this incident had happened in a vacuum, then I think I would probably agree that The condemnation is overstated.

However, we know that this was an organization that was taping other teams' walk-throughs and essentially stealing their plays. We also know that this was a team that was manipulating the rules to declare people ineligible in a hurry up offense, which allowed them to come back and beat the Baltimore Ravens and their playoff matchup.

Now, we know that they were also intentionally interfering with the integrity of the balls themselves.

When you put all of those things together it is impossible any reasonable person to come to any other conclusion then this is an organization that is inherently and brazenly corrupt. The only question left is where else are they cheating?

In New England, they will be all in for their heroes - just like Cincinnatians still defend Pete Rose. Everywhere else, the Pats' legacy is clearly tarnished. That is not hatred, it is reality.

Yes, this resonates more because of Spygate, and because Brady and Belichik haughtily lectured the Ravens on "knowing the rules" when they used some technically legal but clearly deceptive formations to rally in the 3rd and 4th quarter, when they looked dead in the water and beaten.

I'm ok with that, but why was there no outrage about Jerry Rice when he admitted he used glue on his hands throughout his career, violating the "sacred" NFL rules? Are those Super Bowls the 49'ers won with him tainted? Pats fans just want everyone treated the same. That's not unreasonable.

And for Pete Rose not to be in the Hall of Fame is a joke.

Shula is a cranky old man. His two SB wins never erased the embarrassment of losing to the 19 point underdog Jets in SB III.

What do you think is Brady's appropriate punishment? I say a 4-game suspension.

"We ...... believe, based on the totality of the evidence, that it is more probable than not that (Tom) Brady was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities ...," the report states."

Your Super Bowls are bogus and so are you and Brady. 07-coffee3

You go on believing that.

You were "de-flated", and Kraft and Brady were BUSTED. You go on believing whatever you want to believe, but the NFL report concludes that your pathetic defense of the Patriots was Dead Wrong.

Do you think the NFL will have the Pats take down the four Super Bowl banners in Foxborough? I'm guessing not.

The NFL report is inconclusive.

Of course they won't make them take down the banners, but thanks to Spygate and Deflategate, the banners don't have anywhere near the same meaning that they have for other legitimate Super Bowl winners. If I were a Patriots' fan, I'd be embarrassed to wear any "Super Bowl Champion" t-shirts or the like.

The NFL report is not "inconclusive". It concluded that it is "more than probable" that Brady knew about the ball deflations.

Furthermore, to the extent that even firmer conclusions couldn't be reached, a key reason is that Brady withheld evidence (texts and emails), and the only rational basis for doing that would be to avoid incriminating himself and/or other Patriots staffers. That by itself is defined as "conduct detrimental to the league", so he obviously had something to hide.

He did it, and he's going down for it. 07-coffee3

You're so full of sh*t, the crap is starting to ooze out of you're eye sockets!! If you really want to be treated the same, I think a 1-year suspension for Brady is in order. After all Jonathon Vilma got that for the bounty scandal, and he had as much to do with that as Brady did with the deflated balls. Didn't the Commissioner say, "Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!"?

It's conclusive, per the NFL rulebook. Perhaps you should take your cheating savior's advice and learn the rulebook!!

Or, be as ignorant as your cheating savior. Your choice.
