Facts are Butler was dismissed and expelled for a terrible act. Marshall acted swiftly and professionally in handling the matter. The Huntington police and MU PD are in agreement that there was never an attempt by the MU football program to cover it up. The MU police chief has said the detective spoke out of turn when divulging information about an ongoing investigation.

The writer has worked for three tabloids within a short time. When pressed about his sources and facts he presented in his article he wouldn't or couldn't answer to back up some of his articles content.

He embellished everything as is usually the case in tabloid journalism. If Tiger fan likes that stuff, head to Walmart and by a National Inquirer. Everyone knows that stuff is all true.

The only representations of people from our region the rest of the world see are Hatfield and McCoy movies and bearded idiots chasing Bigfoot. Those that actually visit and spend time here know the real Appalachian culture. Site we have our warts, but I truly prefer people around here than those who call the civil war the war of northern aggression.

Nothing is being covered up. It's all pretty clear cut and dry, actually. And it happened pretty quickly, too.
